There was no shortage of “dabbing” this summer at Bellcate School. For the fourth consecutive summer Bellcate School employed youth from local schools and colleges to support our teens with mentoring. This is a win-win relationship. Local students interested in the fields of education, mental health and social worker gain invaluable exposure.
Youth staff are also provided comprehensive orientation, training and evaluation with tenured staff to foster greater learning and application. At the same time Bellcate students benefit tremendously from the mentoring, camaraderie and friendship provided through these meaningful connections.
