I just wanted to take a moment to reflect on the awesome season our skiers and riders had this year on the hill. During 3rd quarter each year our Bellcate Bulldogs transform into huskies and head to Smugglers Notch everyFriday for some fun on the slopes. Students who decide to participate can choose to ski or snowboard and gain valuable practice time at one of the area’s best mountains.

It’s been incredible to see the progress of these students as the season passes. Having the opportunity to enjoy some of Vermont’s most stunning views, taking in the fresh mountain air and gaining skills that can lead to a lifetime of winter sports enjoyment are just  a few of the benefits of this program. The exhilaration of these activities offers a fast paced, substance free adrenaline rush that can promote healthy life choices. It also builds a certain comradery that is shared by winter sports enthusiasts worldwide. This year’s late season snow made for a powdery and awesome experience! If your student is on the fence about skiing or riding, I highly encourage you to suggest Bellcate’s winter sports program next season!
