Our kitchen was bustling the week before break in preparation for Bellcate’s Annual Thanksgiving Feast. Staff, students, parents and friends prepped all kinds of delicious dishes for our community celebration at the Holy Family Community Room. This annual tradition dates back to 2008, first hosted in our school cafeteria, as a special lunch where students were given the opportunity to express what they were thankful for in a gathering with staff and peers. Since that first very meaningful lunch, our Annual Bellcate Thanksgiving Feast has outgrown 3 community locations and has grown from a group of 50 for lunch to a half day celebration of 165 people. We are grateful to everyone who helped organize, cook, set up, and breakdown. A special thanks to the Mashteares who ran the kitchen like professionals! And a shout out to Jac Treanor for yet another successful Bellcate School event.
